We tried to think of all the questions we’ve heard or actually wondered about ourselves in the past few years and translated it into this rather long (I call it ‘comprehensive’, Mindy calls it ‘just plain LONG’) FAQ section.

What is the estimated cost of running a regional championship for one year?
Our estimated cost for running the NASA USRC and CRS championships in 2008 is at least $10,000. And that is barring any major accidents or engine repairs. (back to top)
OK, so you’ve got my $20, now what?
Be proud that you’ve done your part to contribute to grassroots racing! Not many people have their name on a race car, but now you do! (back to top)
Is my sponsorship money tax deductible?
No, but you can try. Just don’t tell them you gave US the money, they’ll come after us! (back to top)
I own a company and am interested in rally. What can you do for me?
We can offer HUGE exposure to your brand by running decals on the car for the duration of the season. The decals will be seen not only in competition events, but also in local car shows, charity events, local dealership appearances, etc. (back to top)
In addition to this, any press interaction will mention major sponsors. There are numerous periodicals and websites that follow rallying in America. Loyalty develops between the brands that sponsor rallying and fans and fellow competitors. It’s like the ‘NASCAR Effect’, but on a smaller scale. (back to top)
I own a company and don’t really care about rally. What can you do for me?
Read the ‘Sport’ FAQ. Sounds fun huh? Now you’re into rally right? If not, read it again! (back to top)
I own a car dealership. What kind of exposure can you get me?
We would be proud to call a car dealership a marketing partner. We can offer exclusive in-house event appearances, local exposure at car shows and ‘cruise nights’, as well as event ride-alongs and photo-ops. (back to top)
I am a CFO of a company and am wondering what the value proposition of sponsoring you is.
While rallying admittedly does not have the exposure of Formula 1 or NASCAR, its popularity is increasing and has received more airtime and press time in recent years than ever before – and it keeps growing! The X-Games now features Rally Driving as an event and with the influx of many new competitors and fans, it will continue its’ escalation in the public eye. In addition, there are growing numbers of printed media that run rally stories and cater to the community. (back to top)
Rally cars are always dirty. Would anyone even see my logo?
We make it a part of the competition to keep the race vehicle clean enough for all sponsor names to be plainly visible at all times by cleaning it while in service. Keeps our service guys busy. (back to top)
So will my contribution matter?
Of course it will. Every little bit counts. We appreciate all sponsorships from the biggest to smallest! (back to top)
What would it cost to have exclusive rights to sponsor the car?
This would have to be discussed on a case-by-case basis as numerous sponsors are the only way we can afford to compete! (back to top)
How on earth do you afford this even with sponsorship money?
Credit cards. And offshore tax shelters. (back to top)
Will you have any excess money and if so, what will you do with it?
We likely will not have any excess as things always seem to break no matter how nice to the parts you are! (back to top)
